I found this little guy in a thrift store today for $1. Can anyone tell me anything about it? i'm almost tempted to rip off the paper label to get a better look at the mark [but i won't!]. any info appreciated.
probably custom kitchen design from the Vick company in California, they got liasons to chinese factories to equipe american chinese restaurants
in the business we call this a Dana bowl ( all kinds of everything- eurovision winner 1970) because the marks are almost untraceable or bogus and the design is mostly inconclusive
IMO opinion this ought to represent a rooster design the Tongzhi way, to me it looks like 1960 tees
Those were the days, my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we'd choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young
and sure to have our way
Well, I done got old,
Can't do the things I used to
'Cause I'm an old man
Well, I done got old.

you're close apostata, but i think it's republic - 1920-1940, which is when that paper lable was used.
