Appears to be forged, anybody know what it was used for? Seems to vaguely resemble some fence pullers, but unable to find a match. Thanks for any help!

How does its 'fork' end move? I can't quite tell from the pics, could we please see another or two, maybe just closer views of that end of it??

      Thanks for reply!
A friend sent me the pics, I asked for more but made some crops for now. I think the fork is one piece, and it pivots back towards the handle. Probably pivots away too, 'cause I can't see a stop going that way. But some care was given to the surfaces where the fork would meet the handle, if you look closely, it appears to be formed like a shear. Beveled on one side, and flat where they cross. The small lug/pin that sticks out on one tine appears to pass right through, and back to the pivot bolt. Maybe used to keep the shear action true?

Maybe a lever for something? Like a buggy brake?

      I think I got it.
A bench shear. I found a sold listing on ebay, looks like it although the ebay item was more special.
