A bunch of great old hand tools. I know the function of some and there’s a few I’ve got questions on. I love the Hooker crate tool and that is actually gonna start going to work with me a week from Monday after my vacation. Below the Hooker tool claw end, could anybody tell me the tool that looks like a T? The 3 pairs of pliers Left to right all are stamped Germany. The scissors far left also have Germany stamped on them. I’ve got another group of tools that came with these ones and plan to send the rest in soon. I enjoy this site for many reasons.
That HOOKER tool *does* look like it'd be very useful, for a good number of tasks actually?!!! :-) I'd guess offhand the T-handle is a reamer of some sort, or maybe a thing meant to jab into another thing (lumber, tubing, ???) to make a temporary 'handle'...??? Total guesses of course, YYMV... :-)
YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary) of course...d*mned non-editable comments... ;-)
That tee handle isn't a reamer I don't think. Looking at the age of it I would say it is an old seat removal tool. They are still made that design but with different size tips that slide into a barrel at the end
