Well the 4th day of the new year of 1911 this postcard wast postmarked at 11 am in Dallas Texas and the only thing I'm wondering about would be why the stamp is upside down? If anyone can tell me the reason for the stamp being upside down please let me know.

Ummm . . . simply because the same person that wrote sideways on both sides of the card also managed to stick it on upside down . . . ??? ;-) :-) :-) :-)

An upside down stamp is “code” for I Love You.

      Hi, Mr.Hurley. :-)

Watchsearcher is quite correct about that code for an upside down stamp:

On the other hand, the sender might simply have been in a hurry or absent-minded, and applied the stamp upside down accidentally.
