Old Pyrometer

Another item from the widow display from the appliance repair shop. This old beastie has the name Teltherm on the front, I still deal with this company today at work but although they have their name on the box it appears it was made in Japan :) , this is quite old but after again giving it a good clean and rubbing some oil into the wood and some CRC onto the instrument and cables etc I put the probe in the freezer and it went down below zero! As you can see it is in great condition even with the original packet of silica gel with the makers name on it still in the box. Bet there was a few stove ovens calibrated with this back in the day.
