Some more from my dad's collection, two of which are from the Avalon Ballroom in SF (definitely didn't notice that trend before in his collection!).

The first is a Christmas concert poster for the Grateful Dead, the Steve Miller Blues Band, and Moby Grape. I love how these old posters specify who's doing the light show! Again, a Family Dog Presents show.

Next is a Jefferson Airplane and Great Society show at the Avalon, also Family Dog.

Last is the Love, the Sons of Adam, and the Charlatans at the Fillmore, again Family Dog.

      From left to right:
The so-called Hippie Santa Claus (dates are 12/23 & 12/24) is one of my favorite posters. It was created by Victor Moscoso. These sell for between 200-400 or more, depending on condition. This is back when Steve Miller was still playing the blues...
The middle poster is known as Snake Lady, Kelley & Mouse were the artists. At the time, Grace Slick was singing with Great Society; she would soon join the Airplane. About 1,000 posters were printed in the first run, some with gold backgrounds, some with silver. If this is really a gold version of the first edition (can't quite tell since the lower left corner of the photo is cut off), then it's worth around 600. If it was a silver first (these are tougher to find), the average would be more like 1,000.
Finally, the Wes Wilson poster for Love and The Sons of Adam is known as Dirty Old Man. Originals are going for 2-4 grand....
