    I wasn't familiar with this art form and the weight surprised me ,not sure how many sheets of glass. Most ones I've found online don't have a painted background which adds a lot to it's realism.
    Sadly the painter's details have been blacked out but the company name appears in Calgary mid '50s
    Hard to get a true image with several sheets of glass reflecting , hope you like it.

      My mother, who was very talented, made a small painting of a flower and leaves on several layers of glass….it was lovely and looked so real. I think she painted hers in the 1960s. It took such precision to get it right!
