Let me start off by saying this model/car has a great profile. This was pretty advanced styling for 1966 with the fastback design.
The model comes on a base which is nice for display but takes up a fair amount of space. I took it off the base and will put it in one of my clear plastic cubes. The hood on this should open but I fear it is painted shut. Looks better with the hood down anyway.
I believe this was the first year for the Charger which went on to Daytona 500 fame.
This car is almost as cool as the Barracuda of the same year. I always liked the big rear window cars.
