Well not really a 'rust garden' as they're in a trainyard instead, surrounded by all sorts of rusty things including many *much* larger -- but anyways -- this little group of things pictured here as 'accumulated' at a corner of a fence surrounding some really heavy-duty electricity. Rest assured I'd happily add any/all to my rust garden (and these'd fit?!) but I don't imagine any of the UP guys that otherwise work there would really understand, much less actually let me walk off with their stuff...I obviously didn't even try. This location is generally off-limits "private property" of Union Pacific Railway of course, only (cleaned up and) opened to the public when special train events occur.

Under the cool signs at a fencecorner, the pipe-thing is sitting on top of a sheet metal box attached to the fence and holding a pair of cast iron electrical connection plugs with flip lids. I think that pipe-thing is probably an adapter fitting for those air brake (?) hoses that connect train cars together at their couplings. Below them on the ground a not subtly sized open end wrench (painted red) and blue SAFETY FIRST sign attached to a metal bracket that lets it be clipped onto train tracks.

Pic 4 is just Lucy puppy who came along with me for the ride/walk to see the big choo-choo...she didn't care about that at all, but seems to have enjoyed all the attention she got from all kinds (and sizes) of the other people around -- her first experience with 'a crowd'. She also discovered how to get a cool drink of water out of a plastic bottle -- turns out that little pink tongue of hers can kinda fit right up in there?!! ;-) :-) :-)
