Seven long years ago I posted one of these in the 1967-1968 E Style Box. Recently I picked up another in the F style box sold only in 1969. Because when one collects one must have every version. The F box has Matchbox straight across the top, larger art on the end flaps and graphics on the top and bottom of the box. The graphics show the exciting features. In this case it is an opening back end and a removable patient on a stretcher. You can see where the stretcher fits in in photo #3 on the left side.
The model was first released in 1967. It got turned into a Superfast in 1970 and sold through 1972. I prefer the regular wheels but if I run into a boxed superfast version I may pick that up.
The color on this is cream with blue tinted windows. Stay tuned next week for a golden oldie.
