Two Trifari brooches, both signed sterling and Trifari. Circa 1940s. The blue one I bought on line a number of years ago. I thought I got a nice price then even though I had to replace a few tiny rhinestones. Last year, in June, when the thrift reopened they had a treasure trove of old Trifari. The one on the left was one of the ones I bought. They don't appreciate Tirfari there at all, which is actually a nice thing for my budget.
I don't know all the colors this brooch came in and I know there were other close in style designs.
Hope you enjoy these.
Beautiful & Great Photos!
How could they not appreciate trifari?!!! These are both so beautiful, so delicate and pretty and both colours are equally fabulous, they remind me of some kind of delicate insects too- I think it maybe the wings shapes I see in it?!
Lucky you, very nice :)
Alfie21, Mrstyndall, andSearching1 - thanks so much for your enthusiastic admiration and love for this post!
LaurenRedmond - They just hardly ever include it in their better collections, but that's great from my point of view. Yes, the leaf pattern could be seen as little wings.
And thanks to the other collectors who gave this post a love! - It's gratifying to hear from you.
Hi Eileen, I've missed reading your wonderful comments on posts. So glad you're back on CW. Thanks for the kind comments. Have a nice weekend.
Just to find one of these beauties is amazing. Two, fabulous! They are gorgeous!
DejaVu2- Thank you so much for the love and appreciative comments. I do feel so fortunate for the collection I have. When I first starting collecting years ago I found so much Trifari, I sold it quickly thinking I would always find more. Now, I hardly ever see it. I wish I had not sold some of those old piece. Oh well, you ever know what you'll find next! So maybe I need to check out flea markets, or go further afield. Where do you go antiquing?
And thank you collectors for loving these brooches. I am not update in thanking you for your appreciative clicks.

I used to go to thrift stores, yard, garage and estate sales to get my fix, lol. Now it's all online. Your Trifari collection is by far the best i have ever seen!
