I'm just a Trifari fan, as you know. Here are two early Trifari brooches, each is signed K.T.F. The orchid is en tremblant as the center is set on a spring. I found the wheat last year in a thrift! I bought the orchid on-line at a very reasonable price as if was listed as being signed KTE, the seller misreading the period after the F.
I love seeing old KTF so if you have some, please post it!
Thanks for stopping by.
Very lovely - the orchid is detailed. What period do you date these?
Hi Lori, Trifari stopped using TKF in November, 1937. The orchid was advertised in Vogue in September, 1936.. The wheat brooch is a simplified version of patent number 105,136 (two wheat berry stems brooch) dated June 29, 1937.
Thanks for the love and question.
And fortapache and dav2no1 thanks for the love, too.
Eileen, Your Valentino turtle was a fabulous find such a sought after designer! And the price you won't see again that's for sure. Thanks for your kind comments. I'm just an avid collector, and enjoy the research part, too.
Searching1 thanks for your comment. I love the orchid, too.
