This is a CHANNEL MASTER model 7150 black and white "Closed Circuit TeleVision" camera. Likely intended for security monitoring purposes originally, in an era when such surveillance wasn't commonplace like today, I'm guessing it dates from the mid-late 1960's. It remains a relatively simple/primitive thing, (compared to modern examples) only taking a black and white picture in whatever ambient light is available, probably of startlingly low resolution. (again, as compared to today's) It is equipped with a fixed-focus lens and stationary mounting method, although it could have had a motorized mount (maybe even lens?) of some variety, if so that was its own discrete piece of equipment.
It remains in functional condition as of the last time I played with it, probably 25yrs ago...?? ;-) :-) :-)
