Well not an exact copy as it is slightly smaller than the Colt 1911A1 .45ACP. It is more like a .380 but it sure looks like the real thing. And it feels like it aside from the weight. Although any fool could tell it isn't the real deal because this is a double action cap pistol.
The slide on this racks back and that is where the roll of caps is inserted. No the caps load in from the top which ruins the illusion a bit. Actually I can't figure out how it feeds. May just be a single shot double action. OK I have no clue but I think this is the most realistic cap pistol from this era I have seen. By that era I mean 1960s when toys were dangerous.

Looks pretty real aright, don't go playing with it outside!

Nice, I had a metal Hubley 1911 that had slide action and a removable mag. The 1911 is my all time fave sidearm.

BB2 I have one. I had .357 SW that I really wish I had not sold. It was packetized and I won't find another of those.

You aren't talking about 1911 Colt. Fort, I've had probably 100+ guns go thru my hands. Of course, you live in CA. Is a cap gun even legal in CA ?

      Cool find.

It also looks like a old 1970's 177cal Air pistol made by Daisy i still got it here somewhere, that's cool

bb2 I have an actual 1911A1 .45ACP as some headless rattlesnakes could tell you if they could. The cap gun is illegal as it does not have an orange tip.

      Thank you very much Trey.

Thank you very much Bobdirt. It would be cool if you posted it.

I'd like to see that too Bob. Fort, aren't you afraid that the CA Democrats will descend on you and shoot with their guns without orange tips ? Could I legally own & shoot my blunderbusses out there ? I wouldn't want to paint the muzzles orange !

bb2 only fake guns need orange tips. You may shoot your blunderbuss u8naltered. Now should I post my SAR45 heavy barrel? It does not have an orange tip.

Go for it ! I am into blk. pdr. mainly, but have dabbled in more modern guns. (I don't keep a blunderbuss loaded for home protection).
