This meiping vase is almost 12 inches high. I found it today in a thrift store. I found similar pieces which claim to be circa 1900, but that would be wishful thinking. I think it's probably a lot newer than that, but it is nicely done and good to look at.

i got serious doubts here , the point is this , they want to represent kangxi -familair noir-( auburgine) in the revival way lets say 1890 styling, but then you have to represent a double track rim on the bottom, a batching or/and district number and probably try to represent the chinese number in an odd way , the black is too shiny also m, spurious
