    General Store Spice Tin Box
Original labeling inside for Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger, Allspice, Mace, Nutmegs.Label lid is hinged & lifts for the 6 compartments. They are original yellow paint. The inside lid is also original brown paint with the compartment that housed the spice grater. These were expensive spices so there is a hasp for a lock on the front.
Unfortunately someone has painted the outside of this bin in black paint. If original paint & patina inside & out in good condition, this box would sell for big money. It is still a great find & usable kitchen piece or collectible.
