These figurines were marketed as 'table sculptures'. As you see they are hollow and semi abstract. Image 1 is Beran, the ram,a recent find complete with the generic Bohemia Glass label. Image 3 is 'Kozoroh' the goat which I posted here 7 years ago. There is a third, 'Danek' the resting fawn. Fingers crossed!
I thought it was a solid piece at first. The texture is terrific, but what I love are the oversized horns! I hope you find the faun, Peggy!
Yes, Michelle, the horns are indeed impressive. In fact the faun is far less well endowed so at least I have the better two of the three. But I'd still love to find one!
Peggy, are you sure you're looking for a faun?I always thought it was a reindeer or something like that.
Iwona, Marcus Newhall, in his book on Sklo Union, calls it 'a resting fawn' aka a young reindeer. I've only just looked up fawn as the book has a picture of it. As Michelle spelled it as 'faun' I had assumed she was right. So it's a fawn aka a young reindeer. At least I'll be correct next time, IF there is a next time!
Sorry - my 'faun' is a woodland god i.e. Pan! ;)
I still have just one …. a Beran but it’s frosted. Good luck. These are ‘keepers’.
I didn't know the word 'fawn'. Now I can see a misunderstanding :)
Michelle, no problem,
Vetraio, I found no, 2 purely by chance, and I agree, keepers certainly.
Iwona, another complication of English for you, 'fawn' is also a verb. So knowing that I assumed the book had made an error and went with Michelle's spelling.
For those - like me - who wanted to see your goat:

Wow22 As long as you didn't want to get my goat :)
These are a new thing for me Peggy and haven't I been missing out!
Perfect design.
I'd say yes, but we may be in a minority. He designed a second series which were more minimalist. I've only ever seen pictures of those.
