This 2 1-4" brooch has an interesting combination of various blue & green prong set rhinestones, the teal marquise 'petals' being framed with alternating blue & green chatons. By Castlecliff (1918-1977), this piece ca 1960s
I love the color scheme here, it always reminds me of the ocean. Lovely brooch.
Agree with other comments about the great use of colors! Very nice find

Searching thank you so much for your fabulous praise & always kind words, you share in the joy I had finding this piece - such a complementary mixture of blues and greens, and yes the real rhinestones are a rare find and among my favorites (remind me of blue zircon, one of my December birthstone colors). All those prongs, even on the small stones which are rarely found - Dorothy Bauer is another who always prongs the littlest stones, must be alot of work!
Thank you Lori for your super comment and I agree that these are very oceanic colors & blend harmoniously. When my eye caught this brooch I just knew it was special, the various blue-green colors go together so well
MrsT thanks so much for your lovely comment and enjoying this blend of rhinestone colors as well, I love them & it was a really nice find indeed
Thank you Phil for your great comment & I knew you would appreciate the prongs, it's true they give an air of quality to gems such as Sherman's. You are so right, the 60s was a time of fine quality & discovery of better methods in everything, on the brink of the Aquarian age of new horizons
Thank you Michael for the love, it is always greatly appreciated and very nice of you
