He’s gorgeous, that’s a really beautiful shade of....red? Cerise? I also love the tilted forward pose- he looks as though he’s either perched on a branch or telephone wire! The picture of him turned head on makes him look really curious too!
You have so many different color animals. Would like to see them all together sometime :)
Nice modeling of the eyes and beak !~
With thanks to you all for the love

Thank you Searching for your super praise, yes this bird is a very rich shade of red. I think it looks very like a robin in shape, the loveliest springtime bird
Lauren your imagery for this bird is fantastic as always, he does appear to have just flown to a branch & is checking out the situation! And I think cherry red is a good description of the color, it is certainly a bright red. Thank you for your awesome comment
Thanks MrsT for your lovely comment, most of my glass animals are currently in two display cabinets which you can find in the CW search box co-posted with Pilgrim Glass birds (pair) and Boyd Glass kitten. I don't do special posts of my storage furniture as it is rather repetitive to see the already posted animals I think
Phil thank you for noticing the modeling on this Westmoreland bird's head, agree they did a really nice job there & I also love the sculpted wings, very real looking. Thank you for your wonderful comment
nice looking bird, don't see many red ones ...very nice...
Many thanks for the love guys
