    Hello,
I recently bought this sword from an antique shop and I was wondering if you could please help me identify it. From what I can tell from google, it is a model 1850 officer’s sword, but I am not sure if it is real, especially since it has no markings or inscriptions besides “US” on the actual blade.
I would greatly appreciate your help.
    Thank you!
    -Justin

It is the 1850 model but hard to determine if authentic or not by pix . I think it is a replica.
