Vintage Kayanee Sew Master German kids hand crank sewing machine.
A site claimed that a London Auction sold one for $13,600.
I've seen several similar but prices are all over.

That London auction story sounds suspect; however, I suppose it's worth saying that anything is worth what the ultimate buyer is willing to spend (and some people have way more money than sense).
A quick search of Google Shopping for Kayanee Sew Master doesn't show anything that spendy.

Thats odd. Ive had people suggest values here many times and its never been a problem. And Ive seen others do the same on their items.

I'm not sure what to tell you about the enforcement of the Collectors Weekly Show & Tell rule about valuation, other than that it's probably a combination of factors, such as the status of the post owner, specific language in the post, and the discretion of the CW staff.
For example, a first post by a brand-new CW S&T user in which an explicit request for value is made for an item that is clearly for sale is likely to get deleted.
As to the alleged sale price of that London auction KAYanEE Sew Master, I'd probably ask the person who told that story, "Link please." };-)
