A large and very orange bunch of mushrooms from southwest Missouri back in the summer. I have always enjoyed photographing fungi, toadstools and mushrooms there are so many shapes and colors.

I have not had mushrooms in years. They used to grow on the tree stumps.

The ones that show blush-black when you squeeze them are the good ones. LOL !

Chicken of the woods. Nice! (Disclaimer: always positively ID any mushrooms before consuming them, even one of the “foolproof four”)

All "srooms" are edible. Some, just not a 2nd time.
