Independent Telephone Watch Fob

Around the turn of the century the independent telephone companies across the nation adopted the red, white, and blue shield as there own design. This was to attract attention to the indepentend telephone companies that they were not part of the Bell System. The back of the fob is inscribed Compliments of Reliable Electric Company-- Chicago.
Reliable Electric was a large supplier of electrical goods to the independent telephone market.
