These are the three found at that local flea market the other day, one cleaned, one mostly cleaned, and one as found. They're two slightly different heights, but all about 6" across their skirts. As can be seen, someone thought they looked better slathered in thick brown and goldfleckish paint <GROAN> and apparently used them upside down as candleholders (wax all in the threads and stuff) but a good soaking in lacquer thinner seems to be removing the results of all that poor decision making handily . . . <lol>
All three are a lovely gray and brown ceramic under the mess, each is marked "LOCKE" with a logo (?) below on one side. They probably aren't very old or unusual at all, but I didn't have any like them yet...?? ;-) ;-) :-) :-)
