I bought this at the Salvation Army for around $20 just before they went out of business when the pandemic hit. I find no hallmarks whatsoever but it’s very well-made and it’s absolutely beautiful. I tried to show the little tassels at the bottom move. I just would love to find more information on this beauty. I’m new here like I mentioned I don’t know if there’s a place where we can talk about our items to each other but if there is & if someone could reach out to me that way and show me how it would be great. ??Thank you so much! B

It does not seem Canadian from what I see. You should get your photos turned the right way. That mistake does not happen if you use your desk computer, please try that. They turn the wrong way a lot if you use your phone :)

Hello BarbieB, here’s the trick to making your pictures orient the way you intended:
(1). On your device, select each picture and edit it in some way- something such as changing the margins will work.
(2). Edit your CW post by removing each picture and replacing it with the newly edited version.

That’s the simple solution to a problem that has made lots of us want to tear our hair out.
      Hope that helps.

Thank you Both so much! I don’t have a computer unfortunately everything I do I have to use my iPhone because I live in a vortex were computer services don’t reach… Sad but true thank you so much I really appreciate it cause I know my photos make me look like some sort of a bone head??

:^) BarbieB, don’t worry about it!
I also only post from my phone because an injury/subsequent surgeries left me with pain when I position my hands to type on my computer keyboard….I love to type but a few minutes of it is enough to bring on the pain.

It took me a while of experimenting to figure out how to get my pictures posted from my phone straight….I’d read enough to see that sideways pictures were frowned upon.

It seems that problem might be exclusive with those of us who use our phones for everything so I make a point of trying to help.

I hope you will post more of your lovely and interesting items!

Hi there Crystal & thanks so much for the info! So have you any ideas what designer/maker this might be?
I feel a huge sigh of relief having found a place where I could discuss my pieces. Like someone mentioned further up the feed, getting in the wormhole of searching for information can make you want to tear your hair out (oh wait that was posting pictures lol) but either way I have less hair than when I started this journey!! No doubt about it!! I appreciate any and all information I get. I’m sure there’s not one of you that don’t know exactly what I’m talking about with how frustrating it can be. The reward however, when you actually find what you’re looking for, to me is like winning the lottery!! ( Well almost )????
