I found this small necklace today but I am not sure if it is the real thing. The necklace looks identical to one that is attributed and signed by Bernard Chaudron - but only from the front. The back doesn't show his signature and features a very unusual pattern.
Is it a fake/copy? Does it make sense to copy his work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks, dav2no1 :)
Interesting brutalist style, very nice piece
Yes, Newfld. Chaudron did a lot of similar pieces in the 1960 or thereabout. It's just the back that is throwing me off.
Hi freiheit, Here is one very similar to yours. Looking at the back I'd say it is an original Chaudron - it's finished well and has a signature. What do you think?

Gillian, I found this one, too. That's the reason, I am not sure about mine. It looks to me, that both came from the same mold (all tiny details are the same) but there is certainly something wrong with the back of mine:(
