      Welcome to CW. We don't do values here. There is a section for appraisals, but I think the cost vs the value of your item is not worth it.

      I would start at the source. See if they have an alumni or historical society. I've found these types of contacts to be very helpful for information. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to hear the story and see the item.

      I do not really understand how I do it, but thanks for the advice and information anyway.Very many where looking for the same chevron, but nowhere and have not found.
