I’m bamboozled, confused, at a loss, or just plain lacking in knowledge about this set!
My neighbor’s mother-in-law died 20+ yrs ago and they have had her stuff in storage, including a lot of her old costume jewelry. They kindly gifted it to me because they knew I collected and just wanted to be rid of it…even after I offered to pay as there were some fun Weiss and Kramer pieces included! Everything was in excellent condition and my neighbor said her MIL was very picky about taking care of things.
So what is this? The necklace measures 14”, the bracelet 6” and the screw back earrings drop about 2-1/4”. The turquoise colored plastic? lucite? is beveled at the edges and riveted in. There is no mark anywhere. I’m not sure what the metal is as it’s very light weight…almost reminds me of tin…maybe?
I was guessing 1960s, but the rivets and metal had me wondering if it was earlier. It’s odd, but interesting.
Any ideas anybody? I do love y’all’s input!

Ms.CrystalShip LOL…Eileen, I concur with you it is low end costume. I just couldn’t figure it out because it’s…odd. Tin, maybe aluminum on the metal is my best guess only because it is so light weight. But the design is interesting.
I haven’t posted the Kramer or Weiss pieces yet, and there are some unmarked pieces that are quite lovely. Nothing fancy. Unfortunately, I did find there are missing stones in the Kramer and Weiss pieces that I’ll point out but maybe they can be replaced…by someone.
Glad to see you back!

I like this type as a lot of makers used these materials to make like sets. Some of the findings are even better quality than a lot of them.
