This bigg-ish serving tray is made of solid wood with stamped and patterned brass rails around its longest curved sides. Wearing a dark stain with a hint of red to it, I'm not sure if it is mahogany (as the color suggests) or not. A (dirty!) piece of glass has been fitted to its interior, despite that the wood finish underneath it looks like it got some water/moisture somewhere along its way. There's a couple grease pencil numbers on its bottom side, nothing else to help with a clue to its maker, origin, or age -- I wanna guess this one probably has a ways to go before it'd be an antique, maybe 1940's-50's when mahogany was a rather popular furniture wood...?
