I picked this up a couple of years ago at a thrift store. It's a well-used cutting board made from a thick chunk of gorgeous wood. I think this is called 'tigering' and is found in burlwood. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. Maybe mahogany or chestnut? it's very heavy and 13.5 inches by 10.75 inches and 1 and 1/8th inch thick. It's also a perfect square - no variations at all. I sanded out some of the scratches, but gave up after awhile. it's very hard and takes a long time to sand. i'll do it soon though. i used tung oil on it.
