I found this with what I think is black spray paint. So I too it home and startet scraping it off. This beautiful yellow crackle finish startet Peaking through and I cant think of a reason its maker would intentionally Cover up its glossy finish. Its So heavy and study. 7lbs 11.6oz. It has some Marks on the bottom but they are hard to decipher under the Black paint. Was it supposed toBlack. I love the yellow.

Well, bright yellow doesn't go with *everybody's* color scheme or even preference (though it fits my bill on both counts?) and there's also a good reason why someone somewhere coined the term "basic black"...?? ;-) :-)
