Acquired this clock for free at a Recycling Centre. Got it home and discovered main spring on the movement was broken (broken glass was obvious). Took it to clock maker for restoration and came back looking like pic 2. Very happy with my find. CLock maker told me it was Mauthe Circa 1930. He also told me that the round tops were not as common.
Mauthe made some excellent clocks. Glad that you rescued this one from the trash heap. Hope you, your family and friends enjoy the sight and sounds of it for generations to come. Thanks for sharing!
