    Watchsearc…
    (88 items)

I just bought these 3 lovely ceramic wall pockets at my favorite thrift store.
The hearts and dove or hearts and white feathers, the gold embellishment all appealed to me….and they looked relatively pricy.
The design could indicate something for Christmas or Valentine’s Day.
The dates 2007 and 2008 on the back lead me to think they might have been corporate Christmas gifts.

There are 3 letters or numbers in the back near the hearts’ points but the pooling of glaze obscures them.

They measure 5” X 6.25” . At the thickest part, they measure 2”.

    Does anyone recognize these items?
    Thanks in advance!

In regard of lacking Royal Copenhagen marks: Royal Copenhagen built a modern new plant in Thailand, and all new dinnerware (except Flora Danica) is made in Thailand. All of the shapes and most of the marks remain the same, but the word DENMARK has been omitted from the backstamp.
    16. IVAN49 IVAN49, 3 years ago
Royal Copenhagen’s decision to upgrade its production capacity abroad will specifically favor the Danish company’s own factory in Thailand. Situated right outside Bangkok, the factory already employs 80 hand-painters, but in the coming year Royal Copenhagen plans to hire 20 additional workers. Thus the number of employees there will continue to increase as rapidly as has been the case since the factory was opened back in 2003. Just six months ago, the factory employed 50 people, yet by December the number had grown to 80. Hand-painters from Denmark train the new recruits in teams of 10 at a time, and two more teams will go through training in 2006.

IVAN49, thanks for all that great info…it’s interesting to know that the US is not the only country which has moved production of some goods to other countries. We don’t hear much about that.
