Hello does any one know what this is? I was told it was a nuns jewelry box from 1900s advise would be appreciated made in italy

Welcome to CW. You can add up to 4 pictures. Some of the inside, bottom and back would help. And with some better lighting..your picture is dark and details are shadowed.
They made many jewelry and music boxes similar to this(and reproductions), but it's hard to tell by the picture you provided.

It is in casket form. I have seen it before in all its colours.Does look exactly like this newer reproduction which many abound but are still nice to have !~
