Well, I call it "Lady with Cat", that's not the name. I found this yesterday while thrifting. I fell in love with the colors and the cat. The lady is similar to the buildings in the background, structural. It is acrylic and measures 18" x 24". It is now hanging in the third bedroom; the Lady with Cat has a new home.

Watchsearcher, use plenty moisturizer and get a dog! lol Dav2no!, yes, it is sort of creepy and thank you Searcher1. Too funny!

The look on the cat's face is sorta priceless too -- I get that one from my furball every so often...usually a 'why the h*ll did you do that' after I do something to unexpectedly disturb his naptime...? <lolol>

AnythingObscure, too funny! I just love the picture, so much to see or relate too. Truly it doesn't creep me out; it's an older woman with her cat. I can see why some would say it's creepy. Art can be defined by the eyes that see it. I love you cat story.

I agree with Modernrelic: the cat knows all!
And has anyone noticed how the old lady’s dress looks like fur?

Mondernrelic, your words are so descriptive; expressive. I couldn't explain why I was so attracted to it, but you touched on it. Thank you for such a lovely critique. Watchsearcher, her dress does look like fur. I was paying so much attention to the brush strokes, that I didn't see it. I absolutely love this forum!
Thanks for the love, aura, dav2no1, vcal, ho2cultcha, fortapache, Cisum, Newfld, Vynil33rpm, and vetraio50.
