I had neighbors move out a little while back -- this funky chair never made it onto any of their truckloads going away, somehow ending up in my storage instead. <LOL> It only officially sat by the curb a matter of hours before rescue, but had spent a little while in their carport beforehand, at least enough to get a little dirty and cobwebby, as such things do rather quickly here.
Lighting was pretty bad for the photos and nothing but the dust shows up well <sigh> and I suppose that's emphasized by its upholstery colors -- a quite vibrant purple w/swirls and jet black in reality, all in 'crushed velvet'. (something polyester, no doubt?) When looking closer at it, I realized there are zippers across its entire (black) underside that'll theoretically allow the whole covering to be removed for laundering (pic 4 shows it partly unzipped) once the white plastic 'nail on' floor protector feet are gently pried off. If it can do that, why not try that??
I'd seriously doubt this is any kind of "something" -- not more than a few years old probably, and never much of a quality item -- just cheap cr*p to fill the discount stores, straight outta the shipping containers arriving from someplace...?
. . . but it's *FUN*, too??? <lol>
Lol...you need some goldfish..
A fun chair…a pre-teen girl would love it ….nice rescue.
