I knew I had this box in another box somewhere -- found it again recently, so here's whats inside!
As labeled, this is my pair of vintage 1970's SONY DR-5A Headphones, which I can say pretty certainly because I remember when I got them (2nd owner, having been very gently used) in the late 1970's. :-) They served as my 'best pair' for at least a couple decades after that, surviving in perfectly operational condition because I always realized they were a notch or so upwardly better than any other pair I (or most of my friends) ever had. The woven covered cord and 1/4" phone jack are original, earpads and the foam inside have even basically survived intact. I use a different pair (newer SONY, already shown here) these days because they're lighter.
A bonus also in the box is, I believe, an original set of little headphones that came with a then brand-new high-tech entertainment device called a SONY WALKMAN . . . ;-) ;-) ;-) They are model# MDR 005.
