I’ve seen Noritake before but never something like this piece represents advertisement of a hotel in Japan.. Peace dates 1940s and 1950s.. On back has RC Noritake Nippon Toki Kaisha size about 6”x4”

I don't think many people realize Noritake was established in New York in 1876 to import Japanese Antiques. In the early days it was not called Noritake.

"In 1904, key members of this trading company created the Nippon Toki Kaisha, Ltd. A new factory was built in Noritake, near Nagoya (now Noritake-shinmachi, Nishi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi)."

The RC stands for Royal Crockery..

"RC - "Royal Crockery" on top of a Yajirobe (toy of balance) symbol, symbolizing the balance in management. Registered in 1907 for domestic use (Japan). Occurs in two colors, pale green and magenta."

So I believe your piece is actually early to mid 1920s..

Actually the Hotel New Grand opened in 1927..so that with the previous information should give you a date..

"The hotel was conceived in 1926 as a successor to the Yokohama Grand Hotel."

So maybe promotional piece or souvenir? The hotel has a storied past with many important people staying there over the years..such as General MacArthur, Charlie Chaplin, and Babe Ruth.
