THANKS for the further pics Saladay! I'm still totally unsure what your heater would have been for and this makes it potentially even more curious?! This part looks like it is at least part of an adjustable automatic gas valve, but I still don't have the slightest idea what would have worked it...I sure hope somebody else knows and speaks up!
