I purchased this from a guy on OfferUp. It was listed as an incense shrine. It’s about 7”x7” and 9” tall. I don’t know what kind of wood it is but it has a beautiful grain. The top holds an inset pot that is made of metal (brass maybe). The drawer pulls and the little metal pot inset into the one drawer is the same metal. It looks very old and hand made. It definitely needs to be restored. I’d like to know anything about it so I can see that it gets the proper attention it needs. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
It’s a Japanese Antique wooden Tabacco bonTray ashtray! The incense tag threw me off. A friend of mine said it looks like an ashtray so I decided to switch gears. Found it out! Super cool!
