These two little countersink bits were recently discovered amongst other random drill bits and stuff in an old toolbox somewhere -- then quickly removed to safety! They're both kinda the same basic thing at 2-1/2" long, one is stamped MAYHEW MADE IN U.S.A. and has a 1/4 - 3/16" shaft -- the shaft on the other looks like it has been kinda ground down to roughly 5/16" so it doesn't have any marks. The Mayhew looks like it is the oldest from the amount of wear to its cutting edges.
Both will now be added to my organ pipe 'voicing tools' box, joining several other sizes and styles of countersinks that are rather commonly used hand tools. These two happen to be a size in this style that I haven't had before, so should prove to be useful!
