This must be mouthblown by a glass artist as I do not see any mold marks. This one is a real winner as it mutch more inventive and fetching than other items in the same media !~
Very nice! :)
Lovely lavender piggy!!! I think he’s a lavender shade anyway...? He’s got a very simple and basic design and moulding to him which is really neat! His curly tail is also so cute- gives him an almost cartoon feel!

A pig with pedigree! Worthy of first in his class. Seriously though he's a beauty.

Thank you Phil for your super comment and yes, this is a hand blown glass animal which shows the level of artistry - it's easier to make the moulded animals resemble real ones, harder for the glassblowers. I agree, it is a very unique little pig with a great color & cute touches like the curly tail
Thanks B. for your great praise & I'm very glad you liked my latest neo glass entry! It also happens to be my last for now but have my eye on another, that is if Santa/hubby is good to me this yr :)
Lauren thank you for your fab compliments & glad you liked this lil piggy - it is a lavender glass that also has blue touches, it shows brighter or paler in different lighting. It surely could be a cartoon pig, the tail & back view make it look as if it's waddling away!
Thank you Joel for your wonderful comment & kind Thanksgiving wishes, yes we had a really nice day and cooked a turkey Brazilian style (from a terrific cookbook), marinated in light beer and came out totally delicious - hope your day was super as well. This is a cool lavender color & thanks for the link, you have a fun weekend too OK
Thank you sklo42 for your lovely praise & enjoying this classy little pig, I would definitely give him first prize at the fair :) I am always trying to find less ordinary glass animals like this one, preferably in colored glass which photographs better
I'm still amazed by neo glass.
Pigs are one of the smartest farm creatures and this one knows a lot. I can tell. She's also quite funny, tells good stories, and is kind to lesser pigs.
Thanks Karen & Alfie for the love for this purple pig, it's very kind of you both
Lol Karen, you have got Ms Piggy all figured out! I love your fabulous imagination & yes neo glass is quite amazing and always different, have my eye on another neo animal that is bigger, will see if Santa (hubby) gets it for me, he has quite the list and better check it twice :)
Thank you Daisy for the love for this glass pig, very glad you enjoyed it and truly grateful for your thoughtfulness
Love him/her!!!
What a great piggy!
Many thanks vintagelamp & MrsT for your wonderful praise & love for this little purple pig, I'm so glad you enjoyed him! One New Year's we cracked a pink peppermint candy pig for good luck but I promise, this little guy will be safe
Thanks so much jb and Searching for the love for this little purple pig, you guys are so nice & I really appreciate your kind consideration
Thank you Kevin for the love for this Mantorp pig, it's really nice of you and glad you liked it
Thank you so much Giana for the love for this Swedish glass pig and other posts, I'm so glad you enjoyed them and am sincerely grateful for your thoughtfulness
