Hi everyone. Been some time since my last post...hope all is well. Today I have what I hope is a Victorian vase by one of the Welz/Steven & Williams/Kralik/etc Makers. It is cased glass with a white interior and a peach/pink on the outside. Dual thorn green handles and a thin ruffled rim. There is fine ribbing (not applied) that covers the base and the entire piece. The pontil mark is unusual to me in that it has some straight lines in it. Can anyone (IronLace lol) help me out please? Thanks :)

Hiya Sharky, this is a super cool piece of Victorian art glass, in my opinion it is most likely Bohemian & perhaps by Harrach. However, early Loetz may be another possibility. I have a couple of vases in a similar salmon pink shade with ribbing & dark green accents, this one being the closest to yours with its white inner casing -

As to the potential early Loetz connection, here is another vase in a similar cased salmon pink over white (no green accents) that may offer another angle for investigation -

Thank you so very much IronLace :) You have an amazing collection and a vast knowledge of art glass. Funny story..I actually received of this vase by mistake. I purchased a pitcher (which I will be posting when it arrives....I will also need your help on it if you don't mind.) The seller sent me the vase by mistake, and when I contacted them...they allowed me to keep the vase and are still sending the pitcher :)
The pitcher is also cased glass and with a thorn handle. It seems to be of a peach like color over white. Clear thorn handle. Pontil....etc Thanks again and I will post the pitcher soon :)

Happy to have been of help!
That is a great story by the way, & I would have been thrilled to be sent this vase by mistake (& able to keep it). A happy accident indeed!
Looking forward to seeing the pitcher as well...

Thank you IronLace. It will still be a few days till the pitcher arrives but I do have some photos of it I will be posting tonight. I also have a decanter set and a couple vases that I really would love your help on. Thanks again :)
