"G 1881" Bohemian White Cut to Clear Vase HELP!

Hi everyone. Today I have this vase....1 of a pair...that is Bohemian Cut to blue with painted flowers and is truly stunning. I am not an expert in this type of glass so I am coming here for help please. The photos say it all...it measures 9 1/4 inches tall. The interesting thing is on the base near the edge is the etched "G 1881". I assume the year is correct but I am curious as to the letter "G"? Is this Moser? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
