Hello, I volunteer at a rummage sale and this beauty was a donation. I would love to know the maker or any information known on this unusual light. It wasn't well cared for and after gently cleaning it, I tested it and it does light up! Thank you!
Must be quite rare, have not seen one and I have been collecting since the sixties !~
Yes, thank you for responding. I found a few listings of the same light online and the dates ranged from 1930s-1950s but no details other than possibly made in Italy.
This listing shows a similar one. Says Italian Tolware...and has a Italy tag on it.

I have been collecting since the 60's and I have never seen one. You scored a great one. I noticed some lamps from the 1947 Simpsons catatlog has some similar but not as balloon shaped. What a keeper !~
