The 'art' within it likely isn't much of anything, but the frame is *wonderful*?!! Measuring 27-1/2" x 31-1/2", it has beautiful oak woodgrain showing between fancy goldtone borders of applied plaster decoration, only slightly chipped up. I don't know exactly how old it is or who/where might have made it, but I don't have much of any doubt it would be considered genuinely antique.
The frame looks 1870-1880ish. Could have been made many places.
I have some pretty good/valuable paintings that are in frames worth more than the paintings.
