Hi everyone! I received this painting from a local dentist originally from NJ. It was his mothers painting that he never liked, and gifted it to me as he was moving out of the area. The first time I saw it, I was immediately drawn to the angle in which the attraction is presented. The straight shot down the street was intriguing. It feels like an original based on its texture, but admittedly I have little experience in art. The signed name appears to be Panes, or Danes or Daner....its up for debate. I have not been able to find anything online about it or whomever artist’s work. Can anyone help with more information?
This type of paintings are mass-produced, given a fictive artists signature and sold to tourists.
