This was an online purchase during one of the lock downs. It seems appropriate to post it today because I am in my personal "lock down" here in Germany. Hopefully, I will be able to board my plane to Canada next week. I am not really depressed to be stuck here by myself, because I came to help my mom and accomplished a lot, but sitting here and not being able to do more is a bit frustrating.
Anyway, this is a large and rather unusual necklace. It is well made. The design is a bit, how should I say, simple. It is marked TN-05, Mexico and 925. Because of the low registration number I believe that the necklace could have been made in the early 80's.
Thanks for looking:)
It is made from simple shapes but the size and shapes themselves make this very mod and eye catching. I'm sure it will attract a lot of complements!
Hope you get home soon :)
Many thanks for your kind comments, racer4four. You are correct, the shapes are simple. If I just pair it with the right outfit, the necklace could work for me. What I like is the weight and how solid it has been constructed.
I hope to get on the plane next Wednesday. I am immunized and the symptoms were very mild. I might not even have noticed that I was infected but Canada requires a PCR test to board the plane. The funny thing is that I am almost sure (as sure as one can be) that I got infected when I had to wait for close to an hour in a crowded room to assist my 85 year old mom to get her booster shot. The gym was very well organized but outside in the waiting room, nobody took charge to control the number of people getting in and keeping distance. The officials from the German Red Cross closed the doors to the gym right in front of us to take a lunch break and the people behind us kept coming and coming. If it wouldn't have been for my mom, I would have given them a piece of my mind.
Many thanks for loving my necklace, kivatinitz, Alfie21, fortapache, racer4four,
