This Renfrew antique grain scale makes the perfect coffee table. I can assure you whiskey, American, Canadian and Irish, all tastes better when drinking it from here. This particular scale is pre-patent (says Pat DEV) and was stamped as being made in Pembroke vs. Renfrew. All others I’ve seen have one or two patent numbers and are stamped as being made in Renfrew.

Coffee tables are usually 15 inches high. This one would be great except for the handles. It does not matter how many times you tell them, they would get up and trip over the handles. I used to have 2 leopard skins with the heads on my floor and there was always 1 guest who would nearly fall. Needless to say you would have to remove this "coffee table" whenever they came to your home or never invite them back !~
