This one is a bit of a mystery to me, its history has been lost to time unfortunately.
It was my grandmother's & I always loved it so it was left to me. She always called it "Florentine Majolica" but wasn't sure why, I believe she bought it at an antique shop here in Melbourne, Australia but apart from that, I know very little about it.
Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

This has the beauty of being old in appearance with great colouring which I appreciate !~
The colours scream early 18th Century to me, the blue bows around the yellow applied "handles" suggest French or for the French market (I'm not sure why I associate the two however) and my greatest clue to this being an exceedingly old piece is the semi-failed attempt at the green glaze (as can be seen in the foliage). If you look closely, the glaze didn't take quite properly, leaving a crackling effect only to the green areas.
I just wish there was someone out there who could give me a definitive answer to origin & approximate date... Value is irrelevant, I'll never part with it but I feel the need to know more.
